Poynette got a three-hitter out of pitcher Jordan Blochwitz tonight and the senior chalked up her second consecutive 2-0 shutout. This one was against a very good Columbus team. Dani Trienen, for the second straight game had the key hit, a two-out single that scored two runs. Jenna Sandstrom had a double for Poynette, the only extra base hit of the game. Neither team walked a batter in a game that lasted about an hour and twenty minutes.
