Germantown lost to Sussex 3-2 on Friday night. The loss drops them to second place in the GMC at 10-2 and 12-5 overall.
Kylie Otto was the tough luck loser for the Warhawks, going the distance in circle giving up 3 runs (1 earned) on 10 hits and 2 walks while striking out 8.
Junior SS Kayla Preiss (2-3, 2 R, 3 SB) had 2 hits and was driven in twice by Junior 3B Julia Sina (1-3, 2 RBI). Sophomore Addy Johnson (1-3, SB) had the only other hit for Germantown.
The Warhawks return to action on Monday at Brookfield East.
