22 runs, 23 hits

Coach Boylen asked his girls to end their regular season on the right note and they sure did that as the Broncos came away with a 22-0 victory over Lake Geneva Badger.

From the very first pitch the Broncos swung a hot bat putting center of bat on center of ball more times than not tonight in route to 23 hits with 7 of those coming via the longball.  Largely responsible for those was Junior Claire Ryan who went 4-5 on the day with 3 homeruns (8,9,10), one to each field, and 6 RBI's.  Ryan actually hit back to back to back homeruns with two coming in the 5th inning.  Brooklyn Ottelien wasn't far behind, going 3-4 with 5 RBI's on 2 homeruns (7,8), one of which cleared the second fence at Badger and landed in their parking lot which is shot.  Alyssa McClelland would add her 3rd homerun in just her 10th game of the season after coming back from injury to start the year and Bailey Thur wrapped up the scoring on the night with her 5th homerun of the season via a 3 run homerun.

In addition to the offensive onslaught the Broncos got another strong performance in the circle from Trudeau who allowed just 2 hits while striking out 13 in her 5 innings of work.
