In a key Badger Conferen e North Division matchup, Waunakee plated six huge runs in the third inning en route to a 6-1 victory over DeForest. The Norskies had taken a 1-0 lead in the top of the first inning but Waunakee pitching and defense shut them out until it was really too late. DeForest scored a second run in the top of the seventh but that six-run outburst was too much to overcome on this day in Waunakee. Leading hitters in the game for Waunakee were Statz at 2x3 and Buchman at 2x4. Leppla got the win while Kennedy Wittman took the loss.
