Logan uses longball to down Tomah

Home runs filled the air

La Crosse Logan made use of the long ball in a double header Tuesday against Tomah.  The Ranger's Abby Leinfelder and Alex Modjeski went deep in game one only to be followed in game two by Alycia Larson hitting a pair, Abby Leinfelder adding her second of the day, and Jordyn Kleman wrapping things up with a grand slam in the fifth. 
 
Modjeski was in the circle in game one and got the 8-6 win going 5 innings, Taylor Shuda pitched the 6th, and Kleman worked the 7th striking out the side for the save.  Leading hitters were Larson (2-5), and Leinfelder and Modjeski with home runs. 
 

Kleman controlled things in the circle for game two en route to a 13-0 win, striking out 14 in 5 innings wqhile allowing two singles.  Logan used 4 home runs with Larson going 3x3, and Weiss, Kleman, Leinfelder, Dohlby, and Lamers all adding two hits each.
