Behind a 17-hit attack and the pitching of Allie Bredeson and Haley Radewan, the Poynette softball team upped its record to 13-1 with a 17-2 win at Belleville today.
Jordyn Mackey went 4x4 in the leadoff spot while Shelby Wheeler, Riley Barnharst, and Emily Cibulka had two hits each. Cibulka cracked a long drive to the fance in right for a triple while Barnharst nailed one that banged off the fence in leftcenter for a double.
Allie Bredeson scattered four hits in four innings of work and Haley Radewan mopped things up with a scoreless fifth inning.
The Pumas are back in action every day this week save for Wednesday.
