Westosha Central outslugs Bradford 12-6
Westosha Central used a 16-hit attack to out-slug Bradford 12-6 in Kenosha
Olivia Klean earned the win, going the distance.  She gave up all 6 runs (4
earned) to secure her 9th win of the year.  “Olivia did a great job tonight.
She made their line up earn their way on base and she pitch from ahead tonight,” said
co head coach Tom Lampe.

The Falcons were able to eliminate Red Devil runners four times in the game by catching them trying to take extra bases.  “That was a huge factor tonight.  Our ability to throw back on the runner killed a couple of rallies.  When we are playing to our full potential, that is what we do,”  the coach added.

Although the Falcons flashed the leather, it was their bats that made the difference.  Westosha Central pounded out 16 hits.  Larkin Langston led the way by going 4 for 5.  Taylor Bergles, Kayla Konwent and Hailey Jester each added another 3 three hits.  “Larkin is in a groove.  She picked a great time to get in it.  We took great approaches to the plate tonight.  Especially early in the game.  This is a great time of the year to do it,”  said Lmape.
With the win Westosha Central concluded the regular season 22-3.  Their next game is Thursday when they host the winner of the Beloit Memorial-Janesville Craig game in Paddock Lake.  “We picked a good time to pick up our game and we are getting healthy again.  Hopefully we can continue this for a few more weeks,” Lampe concluded.
