Westosha Central used a four run sixth inning to defeat Kenosha Tremper in Paddock Lake.  Alyssa Hrncar earned the win in relief of Olivia Klean.  Hrncar gave up a run on three hits while striking out six.  Taylor Bergles, Kayla Konwent and Hrncar each had two hits to pace the nine-hit attack.  "We played a solid game tonight,” said Co-Head Coach Tom Lampe. “We did what we needed to do to get the win.”
The Falcons found themselves trailing 2-1 after the first inning and 3-2 after the second. The score remained a difference of one until the sixth.  Kira Mickelson led off the inning by drawing a walk off Sadie Schmidt.  Brooke Biedrzycki then reached first on an attempted sacrifice.  Tremper thought the ball hit her but the call on the field was not overturned.  Olivia Klean did sacrifice the two into scoring position and Hrncar lined a single to center scoring both.  She was able to score when the next batter, Taylor Bergles lined another single to center. “The bottom of the order has been a spark plug lately,” added Lampe.  “They have generated some rallies in the last few games.  If they keep that up, it will be hard to defend this line up.”
Sadie Schmidt was the hard luck loser for Tremper.  “She kept us off balance for most of the night,” said Lampe. “She places the ball very well.”  Courtney Reeves and Bridget Nelson led the Trojan offense with four of the the nine hits.  Nelson had two Of their rbi.  With the win the Falcons improved to 21-3 on the season.  They close out the regular season on Friday when they play Bradford in Kenosha.
