The Baraboo Thunder Classic Invitational was held at Pierce Park over the weekend. It was the first-ever Classic event in Baraboo. It was a great weekend for fastpitch action and the action matched the great weather for fastpitch. All of it at a great facility run by great people.
The Monroe Challengers beat Baraboo twice in the title tilts by scores of 4-1 and 4-2 to claim the 16-U title.
Poynette Fastpitch beat the DeForest Sting in the first championship game in the 14-U division.
The Wisconsin Bandits beat The Wisconsin Rapids Rage 12-2 in the first championship game.
West Madison Little League topped the Laconia Spartans 8-7 in a tight game for the title in an "if necessary game."
