Poynette's Jordan Blochwitz was rolling along all day in Lake Delton. She allowed just one unearned run in the victory. Kelsey Saager and Samantha Lenius both doubled for the Pumas. Jordyn Mackey had two hits for the Pumas while Alvin had two of the Chiefs' five hits including a double.

Game Notes: UG wins 15th straight to move to 16-4 on the season. The Broncos got a two out hustle double from Ryan and a single to score her from Petrovic in the third. They used a HBP on Annie McClelland a BB and an RBI single from Ryan to plate their other run in the seventh. Defensively the Broncos were very sharp behind a solid performance from the freshman Trudeau. Coach Boylen added this on the game, "Packard did a heck of a nice job pitching out of jams and cutting us down when we were able to threaten, fortunately for us Trudeau and our D showed up to play today and we were able to make a couple of runs look really big."

At Shawano, Courtney Baumann scattered scattered six hits and struck out five as the Hawks upset the Spartans, ranked No. 8 in the latest Fastpitch Chronicle Division 2 poll. Shawano scored two runs in the first on singles by freshman Alli Raddant, sophomore Courtney Ainsworth and Baumann. L-C’s Sara Simonar held the Hawks hitless thereafter, striking out five and allowing just one walk. Shawano, 12-6 overall and 10-6 in the Bay, completes its regular season Tuesday against Sturgeon Bay. No player had more than one hit for the Spartans, 12-3 in the Bay and 13-5 overall.

Monroe 3, Fort Atkinson 0
Monroe clinched the Badger South conference Championship tonight with a hard fought 3-0 win over a good Fort Atkinson team. Becca Armstrong allowed only four hits and struck out eleven in picking up the win. Monroe's Taylor O'Leksy collected three hits, drove in a run, and scored a run to lead Monroe's offense.

The Chequamegon High School softball team swept a twin bill from Prentice on Monday evening to run its record to 8-1 in Marawood North Conference play and to 13-2 overall.

The Screaming Eagles played errorless defense to back the 3- and 2-hit pitching in Brianna Mader and Megan Mader.

Brianna Mader notched the win in the 5-1 victory in the opener.

Chequamegon managed just three hits off of Brianna Dunbar, but Megan Mader's two-run double in the first inning was enough to provide the margin of victory. Chequamegon added two runs in the second inning and one in the third.

Megan Mader notched the win in game two. Jamie Palecek, Brianna Mader, and Megan Mader had two hits each for the Screaming Eagles.
