Rain, Rain , Go Away, come again some other day -- like Sunday

Rain in forecast for most of the week -- what will the options be?

For most of the coaches in the state on this day, it's a matter of wondering.

They're wondering if inclement weather will alter an already busy week, a week filled with softball games, final exams at some places, senior week activities in others and more.

At  8:45 this morning I chatted with one of the most knowledgeable fastpitch people I know and he informed me that in Cuba City it was pouring. That doesn't bode well for that part of the state today.

I know for sure that I am not making any Saturday plans that do not involve fastpitch softball and I mean the high school variety. Rain could push games back a day or more and Saturday is a viable answer.

I can well remember a year where the state tournament was actually pushed back a full week. That was back in the Saratoga complex days in Waukesha (I don't miss that place at all when it comes to state fastpitch tournaments).

For those of you thirsty or hungry for things to read about fastpitch today just click on the Journal/Sentinel link below and read all about Southeastern Wisconsin fastpitch softball. You can also read more later today on this website

Here is the jsonline.com link to the softball stuff.

Have a great and hopefully dry day -- perhaps I will see a few of you at a game that I plan on attending today.
