Trailing 6-5 heading into the bottom of the fifth, Lakeside Lutheran plated six huge runs to take over the lead against Lake Mills and added two more runs in the sixth to get the win. Lakeside had 14 hits on the day.
"We battled back after giving Lake Mills a bunch of runs early," said Warrior coach Matt Doering. The offense came up big in the later innings. The defense made plays when we needed to. Brett Burger threw well in relief. Lake Mills fought hard and really took it to us early in the game.
