Westosha Central beats Oconomowoc to close out regular season

Westosha Central concluded their regular season with a 15-5 victory in Oconomowoc. Olivia Klean earned the win striking out six while allowing only an earned run. The Falcons jumped on the Raccoons with four in the first inning. Alyssa Hrncar led off with a single and reached 3B on Chyanne Onstad's first double. Both scored on a Kira Mickelson single. Mickelson scored on a single by Klean and Klean was plated on a double steal. The Falcons exploded for three more in the 3rd inning. Onstad and Kayla Konwent led off the inning with back-to-back home runs. Klean scored after reaching base with a single and scoring on a single by Elaine Andersen. Carrie Weis added to the score in the fourth with a home run to left. The Falcons were able to add four more in the 6th and three more in the 7th for their 10 run cushion. "We hit the ball extremely well today and we played a solid game in the field. That was a good tune up for us to head into next week on." (co-head coach Tom Lampe) The win improved the Falcon's regular season record to 22-4. Their next game will be Friday in the regional final against the winner of Fort Atkinson and Mukwonago.
