Union Grove got a very good pitching performance from Allie Trudeau tonight to keep a good lineup guessing.  The Broncos scattered 14 hits on the night and got some big ones in route to their 6 runs.  In the 3rd, the Broncos got a leadoff homerun from Brittany Moore followed by a double from Kallista Hribar and an RBI single from Claire Ryan and then a deep fly into the wind off the bat of Alyssa McClelland.  The Broncos would add to that lead in the top of the 4th on a single and stolen base from Moore and then after being advanced to third on a groundout she would reach home on a PB.  In the bottom half of the inning, the Panthers would mount a threat of their own loading the bases on an error, a HBP, and BB and then would score when a pickoff attempt at third would go into left field followed by a boot by the left fielder to allow two runs to score.  The Broncos would settle down after that with centerfielder Sam Carey gunning down a runner at the plate on a single up the middle and an induced comebacker.  The Broncos would add an insurance run in the 6th on another double from Hribar and advancement to third on a groundout followed by a delayed steal of home.  Trudeau for her part picked up the W in the circle tossing 7, striking out 13 while walking 4 and hitting one with no earned runs.
