SHAWANO – Erin Cerveny’s two-out, two-run walkoff double to deep centerfield propelled the Hawks past Green Bay East 6-5 Tuesday.    With one out in the seventh, Shawano’s Saige Henning singled for her third hit of the game.  Losing pitcher Jayda Reynen then hit the Hawks’ Alli Raddant with a pitch to put the winning run on base.  After a fielder’s choice failed to advance the runners, Cerveny drove the next pitch to the centerfield fence, plating Raddant and pinch-runner Lauren Roloff all the way from first.     East (3-2 overall, 1-2 in the Bay) scored its five runs in the fifth inning, utilizing four hits, one walk and an infield error.  Cerveny earned the victory, working the final 5 1/3 innings in relief of Hannah Hein.  Sophomore Brandi Gueths contributed two hits for Shawano, now 3-0 in the Bay and 4-2

Samantha Birling tossed a shutout to lift Fox Valley Lutheran Foxes Varsity to a 1-0 win over the Wrightstown Tigers at Fox Valley Lutheran HS. Fox Valley Lutheran Foxes Varsity's Birling kept the Wrightstown Tigers off the scoreboard for all nine innings she was in the circle. She pitched a shutout, allowing no runs on four hits while striking out five. Jenna Broehm pushed Fox Valley Lutheran Foxes Varsity ahead, in the ninth inning, and the lead lasted until the final out. Morgann Jensen reached on an error to get on base in the ninth. She then went from first to second. Makayla Neinas came up short on the rubber for the Wrightstown Tigers, taking a loss. She walked none, struck out 11, and allowed one run.
