Kahlee Hacker did all she could to give Fox Valley Lutheran Foxes Varsity a boost, but it wasn't enough to get past Marinette , as Fox Valley Lutheran Foxes Varsity lost 7-2 in seven innings at Marinette HS on Monday.Hacker had a busy day at the plate, collecting two extra-base hits. She doubled in the fourth inning and tripled in the sixth inning.Samantha Birling brought the heat against Marinette during her outing. Marinette managed just two hits off of Birling, who allowed one earned run, walked three and struck out six during her 4 1/3 innings of work. Chloe Lambie recorded the win for Marinette . She allowed two runs over seven innings. Lambie struck out seven, walked two and gave up five hits. Marinette was sparked by Lambie and Kiersten Metzner, who teamed up for four hits and four RBIs. Morgann Jensen couldn't get it done in the circle for Fox Valley Lutheran Foxes Varsity, taking a loss. She allowed six runs in 1 2/3 innings, walked two and struck out one.

Marinette never trailed after scoring six runs in the second on an RBI double by Mckenzie Bebo, a three-run home run by Lambie. One run in the top of the fourth helped Fox Valley Lutheran Foxes Varsity close its deficit to 6-2. An RBI single by Casie Kramer triggered Fox Valley Lutheran Foxes Varsity's comeback. Lambie ended the inning by getting Lilly Scheffler to ground out.
