Union Grove got the bats rolling early and continued to hit and apply pressure throughout the game.  Kallista Hribar led off the game with a double and was advanced via the sac where she was plated on a sacrifice attempt and subsequent error allowing the runner to reach base.  Claire Ryan continued the inning with an RBI single and after a SB and PB put her on third, she was squeezed home for the 3rd run.  In the second the Broncos would use a 2 out single from Hribar along with another error to plate their 4th run.  In the top of the 4th, Burlington's Jaina Westphal would reach base on a walk and after a stolen base and PB put her on third she was plated after the catchers pickoff attempt would hit the batters bat careening into the OF.  The Broncos would come right back in their half when, after a laced double from Brittany Moore followed by an RBI single from Hribar, Ryan hit a 2 run shot into the wind in right-center for her 1st homerun of the year.   The Broncos would conclude the scoring in the bottom of the sixth with a leadoff walk from Megan Hribar a 2 out walk from Sam Carey another RBI single from Ryan followed by a 3 run homerun from Alyssa McClelland.  They also got a strong 1st outing from returning All-State pitcher Brittany Moore who threw a six inning no-hitter while walking 3 and striking out 14.  Coach Boylen of Union Grove had this to say about the game, "our girls played really well.  When they are in attack mode they are fun to watch.  That is a darn good team they beat tonight and a team that will do some damage through the year.  They are well coached and have some studs.  We needed to play well to win and fortunately for us we did that."
