2016 ASA Fast Pitch Softball Umpiring Clinic
Date: Saturday March 12, 2016
Place: Netherwood Knoll School Cafeteria, driveway and parking lot next to the private residence address, 224 North Main, Oregon, WI 53575.
Time: 9:00 am – 3:00 pm, check in will start at 8:30 am

Lunch: Bring your own sack lunch or money to purchase lunch at nearby locations.
Format: Hands on training will take place in the Netherwood Knoll gym, if weather permits we may try to do training on Kiser field behind school. Dress appropriately.
General Info: This clinic is directed primarily toward those aspiring to break into umpiring in summer leagues and tournaments. The clinic will provide training in the rules of fast pitch softball, as well as umpiring techniques, mechanics and teamwork.
ASA Registration Available: Successful completion of the clinic will qualify the participant for ASA Umpire Registration. The ASA umpire registration fee is $65, with a reduced rate of $35 for persons 24 years of age or younger if they are still enrolled in college which includes a background check. This registration fee will be separate (and optional) from the clinic registration fee and, if paid by check, should be payable to WI ASA. Please note that many summer leagues and tournaments require that umpires be ASA registered. Also, you might want to check with your local teams, leagues, tournament directors, etc. to determine whether they have a need for more umpires.
