Jordan Blochwitz scattered four Marshall hits while Brooke Dredske homered, Dani Treinen and Jenna Sandstrom both doubled to lead Poynette to the 4-2 win over Marshall.
Blochwitz held the top four Marshall batters to a 1-for-15 day, recorded six stirkeouts and walked none in getting her 20th victory of the season and second over Marshall.
Poynette collected seven hits in the game.
The losing pitcher was Dani Gumz with relief help from Morgan Hendricks.
Poynette will now travel to Boscobel to play Cuba City with a state tournament berth on the line.
