Marathon rapped 11 hits to go along with a healthy mix of Chequamegon errors in an 11-1 home victory on Thursday, May 14.
On the flipside, the Screaming Eagles managed just a pair of hits -- back-to-back singles by Megan Mader and Remi Orr -- which led to their only run in the second.
Chequamegon, 12-6 on the season, travels to Neillsville on Saturday to take on Cochrane-Fountain City and the host school.
