Poynette hosting Scrimmage on Saturday, April 5th, looking for interested teams

Snow and ice are gone, fields are in great shape

The snow and ice are gone -- there's new grass on the field. Toiday, Monday 3/31 there was actually dust blowing off the field. That is a fact.

Hello Fastpitch Enthusiasts - The snow and ice in the part of the state are gone. I've cleaned, sorted and packed away all my ice fishing equipment and transistioned to "soft water" fishing and fastpitch softball.

Rice Lake is making the trip to Poynette om Saturday (weather permitting) to scrimmage with the Pumas. In Poynette we'll have four fields suitable for action. If there are other teams interested in traveling to Poynette just contact me. The cost? Probably the cost of half of one umpire. We'll have one umpire on each field and let 'er rip. I'm sure there have to be teams in the north eager to get in some on the diamond time.

The list of teams that we have signed contracts from for the Jamboree on May 2nd and 3rd has been posted in a previous bulletin. It would be good to check out that list if you are planning on taking part this year.

Check out the Watch Lists and Rankings article that was posted earlier today. If your team got missed just contact me. I will notify all the rankers that we missed you.

I also posted a great preview for the Great Northern Conference today. Check that out. I'm still waiting for conference previews from many other conferences statewide.

Have a great day!

Keep it Rising!

Bob
