Poynette 16-U team looking for two competitive players for 2014

Fastpitch Bulletin

Just a bit outside!

I'm not talking about pitches but rather the amount of time a person can remain outside in this kind of winter weather -- just a bit. It has even kept this guy inside an off the ice.

The official start of the season is just around the corner, so to speak. The WFSCA sort of kicks things off. Check out the association website for all the information you need to join up and be a part of that.

The Poynette Fastpitch Organization sponsors teams at the 10-U through 16-U levels. At this time all but one of the players on those teams are from the Poynette school district. Due to the high number of girls that participate and a few girls whose 17th birthdays were prior to January 1, the Poynette 16-U team is seeking two additional players from outside the school district. An experienced first sacker as well as a utility player. If you can pitch that would be a bonus for you and the team.

Contact Sean Mackey at 608-572-2796 for more information. The team will play league games as well as take part in three or four weekend events.

The Poynette Fastpitch Jamboree has openings for May 3rd. Interested high school varsity teams can contact me. There are also openings on May 10th in the Poynette JV/Frosh Fastpitch Jamboree. The Poynette Summer Fastpitch Jamboree has openings at all levels 10-U through 16-U. The weekend of June 20-22 are the dates. Check out the tourney website on eteamz.com/poynette for more information.

Stay Warm and

Keep it Rising!

Bob
