Is it a safe hit or is it a fielder's choice

What is the official scoring on this situation?

With a runner at first base and less than two outs (the number of outs really has no bearing however) the batter is a lefty slap hitter.

The batter slaps a slow roller between the girl playing third and the one playing shortstop that is fielded cleanly by the girl playing third. She pops up and looks to throw to first base. Unfortunately for her, the girl playing first had charged in and the girl playing second failed to cover the bag early and was headed that direction.

The girl with the ball had to double pump and by the time she threw to first the runner was across the bag.

The ball was thrown wildly and went out into short rightfield allowing the runner from first to score and the batter-runner to advance to second base.

Would you score that a safe hit for the slapper? Would you score it a fielder's choice? Would you score an error on the initial play and another error on the subsequent action that resulted in a run and the batter-runner moving to second base?

Unreported Substitutes

Question/Situation #8 that has been corrected by the WIAA occurred in two games our team played last week. In both games a Poynette player failed to report when taking a turn at bat and it was appealed by the opposing coaches.

In both instances the opposing coaches felt it was an illegal substitute. However, the first time a legal substitute enters a game and is discovered a team warning is issued. Any subsequent unreported substitutions results in the player who was being substituted for, or a legal substitute for that player, assuming the count or replacing the unreported substitute on the bases. The unreported substitute and the coach being restricted to the dugout/bench area. That is Rule 3, Section 6. Article 7 Penalty. It's also covered in the Case Book on page 30.
