Have you ever felt a tremendous feeling of overwhelm?

I'm getting close to overwhelm with try to schedule the Poynette Fastpitch Jamboree. After more than 25 of them I have concluded that beginning in 2014, any team interested in playing in the Jamboree will do so without stipulations that make it nearly impossible and sometimes impossible to work with. All teams will be expected to expet to have one time slot off. No teams will get just one game unless I need a fill-in to complete the schedule. All teams must be willing to wait till the week before the event to see the schedule. All schools must have a signed contract in our Jamboree Binder befiore I even print their name on a Post It note.

And the weather must absolutely agree to cooperate with the Wisconsin High School softballs season.

The last one might just be easier to have happen that the first ones.

The schedule is not complete but it will be by midnight tonight. I'm close. I just have to get one team to play two games on Saturday instead of one.

In a seeding meeting, head-to-head competition is the best way to determine who is better. It pretty much eliminates trying to talk one's way into a higher seed than another team. I think a higher number of people would agree with that than otherwise.

This morning, after things looked wrapped up a team pulled out ouf the Jamboree. They were scheduled to play three. The reason is perfectly understandable. What isn't is the late notification.

Here is the link to the Jamboree Schedule so keep checking it - so click Here
