Maiya Tearney pitched a four-hit shutout as the Spartans improved to 13-8 overall and 13-2 in North Shore Conference play. Tearney struck out nine with no walks nearly flawless defense behind her.
The Spartans broke the ice in the top of the third with a one-out walk to Addison Eichmann, a single by Norah Johnson and an error.
In the fifth, Paige Guse doubled and scored on an RBI double by Tearney. Mackenzie Rolf followed with a walk ahead of Stella Ovalle's RBI single.
The Spartans host West Bend East at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
