Maiya Tearney and Norah Johnson combined to strike out 13 batters in the five-inning victory for the Spartans. Tearney fanned nine in three innings and Johnson struck out four in her two innings of work.
The Spartans rapped 10 hits and took advantage of nine walks and seven hit batters.
Norah Johnson drove in four runs and Stella Ovalle, Mackenzie Rolf and Maiya Tearney drove in three each. Johnson, Rolf and Ovalle had two hits each.
West Bend West, 1-2 on the season and 1-0 in North Shore Conference play, travels to Homestead for a 4 p.m. start on Thursday.
