In the opener, the Falcons lost to host and #1 ranked Kaukauna 3-0.  Meghan Lampos took the complete game loss, allowing 2 earned runs on 4 hits while striking out 13.  The Ghosts scored in the first when Paige Bodenheimer walked, stole 3B and scored on an error.  The game stayed there until the 6th when Kaukauna  hits a home run by Karly Meredith, a triple by Taryn Christopher and a single by Lilly Boyle to plate two.  While Lampos held the Ghosts at bay, Meredith perplexed the Falcon batters, allowing 2 hits while striking out 17.

"We played two very good teams today," said Co-Head Coach Tom Lampe. " We saw some good things and areas where we need to improve.  We will use this as a learning experience and be ready for the playoffs."

With the losses, the Falcons end the regular season 17-4.  They begin tournament play on Tuesday when they host Racine Horlick/Park in Paddock Lake.
