The #2 ranked Division 3 team in the state, Mishicot blanked Waukesha North 7-0 on a nifty no-hitter by Kiran Sandford who struck out 14 North batters while walking one.
Mishicot jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the top of the first and that would have been enough for Sanford but the winners continued to score with one in the third, two in the fourth and an insurance run in the top of the seventh.
Mishicot collected three extra base hits including a double by Karsyn Krause, a triple by Kaelin Adair and a home run by
Katelynn Callahan. All-in-all they garnered 11 hits in the game.
Mishicot boosted their season record to 21-0 with the victory.
The also played Union Grove and won that game 3-2 and had a game with Appleton East. They headed into the three-game day with a 19-0 season record.
