Keightan Rank allowed just two hits and one run as Lakeside took down another Capitol conference for, this time Marshall from the South Division in a non-conference cross-over game.
The winners got a huge two-run bomb by Keyanna Rank in the third to boost them to victory.
"We picked up another win tonight against a solid Marshall team," said head coach Matt Doering. Kieghtan Rank had a solid 2 hit performance in the circle and Keyanna Rank's 2 run homer to right in the third was a big spark for us."
Abby Meis and Keyanna Rank had two hits for Lakeside Lutheran.
"The girls are just working hard and doing the simple things well over the last stretch of games. It's an exciting stretch of softball" added Doering.
