Germantown defeated Wauwatosa East 13-3 on Tuesday, raising their record to 8-1 in the GMC and 10-4 overall.
Senior CF Maddy Balsiger (4-5, 2B, 2 RBI, 2 R, 2 SB) had 4 hits to lead a 19-hit attack, as the Warhawks scored in every inning. Also notching multi-hit games were junior SS Kayla Preiss (3-5, 2B, 2 RBI, 2 R, 2 SB), junior 3B Julia Sina (3-4, 3 RBI, 3 R), freshmen catcher Kennedy Bennett (3-4, RBI), senior pitcher Kendal Thomas (2-4, 3 RBI), and sophomore 2B Alaina Williams (2-3, BB, 3 R).
Thomas got the start in the circle, pitching 4 strong innings (4 hits, 1 ER, 6 K) to earn her 5th win of the season.
Germantown continues GMC play on Wednesday with a doubleheader against DSHA.
