Germantown defeated Brookfield East 4-1 on Tuesday, to move to 5-1 in GMC and 7-2 overall.
The Warhawks opened the scoring with 2 in the bottom of the 1st on a sacrifice fly by junior 3B Julia Sina (1-2, RBI, SF) and 2-out RBI single by freshmen catcher Kennedy Bennett (1-3, RBI).
After Brookfield East tied the game without the benefit of a hit in the 2nd, Germantown took the lead for good in the 4th on a 2-out 2-run double by senior CF Maddy Balsiger (2-2, 2B, 2 RBI, R, IBB).
Kenzie Thomas (2-3) also had a multi-hit game for the Warhawks.
Junior pitcher Kylie Otto was brilliant in the circle, pitching 7 innings and giving up only 2 hits and no walks with 7 strikeouts. She raised her record to 4-1, pitching her 3rd complete game of the season.
Germantown returns to action with a doubleheader at Wauwatosa West on Thursday.
