Germantown got drubbed by Menomonee Falls 23-6 in a battle at the top of the Greater Metro Conference.
Kayla Preiss (2-4, 3B, 2 RBI, R) and Addy Johnson (2-3, R) had multi-hit games for the Warhawks, as Menomonee Falls broke the game open with an 8-run 3rd inning to make the score 9-0.
Germantown will not have much time to dwell on the loss as they travel to Kenosha Bradford to face D2 #4 in the state Jefferson on Saturday, followed by either Kenosha Bradford (D1 #4 in the state) or Waterford (2023 state tourney qualifier in D1).
