Lakeside scored 2 in the third, 1 one in the fourth, 4 more in the fifth then added 2 in the sixth and one in the top of the seventh in route to the win.
Edgerton had five errors that led to five unearned runs. The leading hitters for Lakeside were K. Rank (3x5- HR), E. Wonderlich (2x3),and E. Smulders (2x4- 2B). Meis also doubled.
The winner was Keightan Rank who scattered three hits and struck out 10 Edgerton batters.
"We played a solid game in all facets. Kieghtan threw well in the circle, we got timely hitting and played really sound defense. Overall it was a great team win from start to finish," said Lakeside head coach Matt Doering.
