Westosha Central survived a pitcher's duel by scoring 4 times in the last 2 innings to defeat Waterford 4-0.

Meghan Lampos earned the victory, going all 7 innings.  She allowed 5 hits while striking out 13.  Jaydin Kiser took the loss for the Wolverines.

Each team had chances early but couldn't get the key hit.  The Falcons broke the scoreless deadlock in the bottom of the 5th inning.  With two-outs, Lila McNeill tripled to left field.  Maya Gagliardi singled to score McNeill.

Westosha Central took that lead into their half of the 6th.  Alex McKinney led off with a home run to left field.  Allie Loucas singled and with one out, Emma Smith hit another home run to left.  That was all Lampos needed to finish with the complete game win.

"That was a really good game that could have gone either way," said Co-Head Coach Tom Lampe.  "We did a good job of staying in the moment and took advantage of our opportunities.  Meg was great in the circle and Lila, Maya, Alex and Emma had clutch hits at the key times.  It was a good team win."

With the win the Falcons improved to 5-0 overall and 4-0 in the SLC.  They return to action on Thursday when they travel to Union Grove for a rematch with the Broncos.
