Cedarburg had just six hits but they were timely after some Spartan miscues. The Bulldogs plated three runs in the first inning, two unearned runs in the second and an insurance run in the fourth without the benefit of a hit.
The Spartans had five hits but also fanned 15 times against Cassidy Gall. West stranded nine runners.
West is 5-1 overall and in North Shore Conference play entering Thursday's contest vs. West Bend East.
