KESHENA - The Iola-Scandinavia (5-0, 6-2) softball team beat Menominee Indian (0-6, 0-6) ,14-0, in a CWC-East game at Keshena. The game was stopped after five innings due to the ten-run rule.
Brooklyn Berrens had three hits while Brylee Jueds, Ava Printz and Katie Rosenthal each had two hits for the Thunderbirds. Berrens drove in three runs while Jueds, and Maya Munoz drove in two runs. Jueds and Rosenthal had a double and triple respectively.
Pitcher Julia Munoz pitched the five innings to earn the shutout win. Munoz allowed only one hit, no walks while striking out 11 batters. The T-Bird defense committed no errors.
