“We were a little flat tonight after a full weekend, but we got the job done. Right now, our players have really bought into our mantra that the only pitch that matters is the next one,” said coach Jim Clift. “I was very pleased to see Aubrey pitch so well in her first two starts. She’s been dealing with some health issues but you wouldn’t know it by watching her. She’s throwing great. We are also backing up our pitchers with excellent defense and plate production. We’re playing with confidence and having competitive fun yet keeping our focus on one pitch at a time.”

Lake Mills travels to Lakeside Lutheran HS for a conference matchup with their crosstown rival on Tuesday, April 16 at 5 PM.
