Maiya Tearney and Shae Hagel teamed for a one-hit shutout . Tearney allowed one hit and fanned four over four innings and Hagel threw a 1-2-3 fifth.
After a base hit by Mia Buske and walk to Lindsay Sandleback, Ava Thelen got the Spartans on the board in the bottom of the first with a three-run homer.
The Spartans put a dozen on the scoreboard in the third inning with the aid of six walks and some Grafton errors. Riley Weber delivered two-run single, Paige Guse had a two-run double and Tearney blasted a three-run homer.
West, 5-0 overall and in North Shore Conference play, rapped 12 hits in the game, including two each by Guse and Weber.
