Waterloo took a 1-0 lead in the top of the second and added three more in the third to get the non-conference win.
Freshman pitcher Ally Schaumann tossed a three-hitter, struck out 5 and walked none to get the shutout victory.
The Pirates were led at the plate by McCarthy who went 2x2, Huebner at 2x4 and Spoke at 2x3. Huebner and Baumann had doubles. Both of those hitters had an rbi and so did Freund.
Waterloo collected nine hits of North Fondy pitcher Patterson who allowed 9 hits, struck out 7 and walked one. Only two of Waterloo's runs were earned.
Schaumann faced just 26 batters in her shutout victory throwing 91 pitches.
