An 8-run first inning was a huge difference in this one as the Blue Devils scored them in the top of the first and the Warriors could not recover.
Stark got the win scattering seven hits including three by catcher Keyanna Rank, Keightan Rank, the pitcher also had a pair of hits. Abby Meis and Keightan Rank had doubles for the losing team.
Lodi's 10-hit attack was led by Krumpen, Reese and Hellenbrand who all had two hits. Stark helped herself out with a double. She struck out 10 as did Keightan Rank for Lakeside.
There were five unearned runs scored in the game as Lakeside committed six errors and Lodi had a pair.
Lakeside Head Coach Matt Doering had this to say after the game.
"Lodi strung hits together in the first inning to put up 8 runs in the top of the first. We played really well for the rest of the game, but the deficit was too much. "Kieghtan Rank threw really well after the first inning. Keyanna Rank had a great night at the plate and Abby Meis and Kieghtan had great at bats all night. Credit Lodi with solid pitching and a great start to get the win."
