The Pumas, ranked 4th in the Coaches Association poll this week beat River Valley at Diamond of Champions today 15-0.

Karli Rivette singled to lead off the Pumas' second inning but the next three batters when down on a liner to left, a comebacker to the pitcher and a roller to first.

A three-run third sealed the deal for the Pumas as Emma Gavinski doubled to lead things off. After a pop up to the pitcher Grace Gavinski drew a base on balls and Gunderson followed with a single. Third sacker Maggie Steinhorst singled to score Emma Gavinski before Rivette got a sacrifice fly to to score Grace Gavinski. Junior Bella Severson then laced an rbi single to score the third run of the inning making the score 5-0.

The fourth turned into a 10-run explosion that featured seven hits, three walks and two hits in the inning by Emma Gavinski and Kassidy McCaffery, one of which was a two-bagger. The other three hits were collected by Mackey with a double, Grace Gavinski with a double and two rbi each by Mackey, McCaffery and Grace Gavinski.
