Junior shortstop Haydenn Sellnow went 3-for-4 and led the Lake Mills L-Cats offensive charge to a 9-0 win against the Cambridge Blue Jays. She had singles in the 1st, 2nd, and 6th innings and scored all three times. Lake Mills notched 11-hits in the contest with Sellnow leading the way, followed by Ava Kleinfeldt going 2-for-3 with a double, and senior Taylor Wollin also going 2-for-3.
Kleinfeldt threw 5-innings of a no-hit shutout and got the win in the circle to move to 4-0 on the season. She struck out 5 and walked one. Junior Aubrey Lepak notched her second save of the season taking command of the final two innings. She gave up no runs on one hit, struck out three and gave no walks. Saveea Freeland got the loss for Cambridge. She pitched six innings and gave up nine runs on 11-hits, struck out two, and walked five.
