Mishicot's junior pitcher Kiran Sanford twirled a four inning mercy rule perfect game against Columbus Catholic on Monday, 4/8 Sanford with 11 strikeouts in the 18-0 win.
Publisher's Note: Beginning this season we will mention no-hitters and perfect games in game reports but we will not be posting any of these unless they are at least seven innings. There will also not be any Fastpitch Chronicle Award Certificates for less than seven innings.

MLB clarified this issue recently: The team has to put at least 27 batters out to gain credit for a no-hitter or a perfect game. If the game is rained out or doesn't go 9 innings, it's not a no-hitter or perfect game. Apr 28, 2016
The Fastpitch Chronicle says that in order to get them posted a pitcher must face at least 21 batters to gain credit.
