Marshall got the game's first run in the top of the fifth inning when M. Nemec drove one in with an RBI single. The Pirates answered back in their half of the inning when Breanna Huebner laced an rbi double to tie the score.
In the bottom of the 7th the Pirates got a walk off victory.
Schaumann threw just 77 pitches as she fanned a pair and walked just one facing just 24 batters. Marshall's Weisensel struck out 10 Pirates and walked two.
Katrina Freund, Spoke and Schaumann added hit for Waterloo. Nemec led the Cardinals going 1x2.
