The Spartans turned 19 walks, five hit batters and 17 hits into 36 runs in their North Shore Conference and season opener.
West scored 16 runs in the first inning, 12 in the second and seven in the third.
Ava Thelen was 4-for-4 with a double, three-run triple, two walks and six RBI. Mia Buske was 3-for-4 with seven RBI, including a three-run homer. Allie Estrada was 2-for-2 with a two-run double, four runs scored and three driven in.
Lindsay Sandleback and Karissa Jenz teamed for a one-hitter in the circle, facing just 17 batters over five innings. Sandleback fanned six and Jenz struck out seven.
