Four new Hall of Fame Members will be inducted - it's a great class of inductees

Chula Vista just north of Wisconsin Dells is the venue once again -- great speakers are lined up

It's not just for high school coaches.

The Wisconsin Fastpitch Softball Coaches Association (WFSCA) urges coaches throughout the realm of the sport to take part in this year's coaching clinic.

Check out all the information regarding the WFSCA clinic at wfsca.org and make plans to attend. Like always, Vice President Cindy Suess (WFSCA Hall of Famer in 2018) has lined up a group of presenters that will offer lots of information every coach can utilize. Check out those biographies on the association website.

At the WFSCA Coaches Hall of Fame Banquet four highly successful coaches with long tenures and lots of victories, conference championships, Final Four appearances and state titles will be inducted.

Here they are in alphabetical order:
Tom Anderson of Iola-Scandinavia fresh off his 440th career victory and a state championship in Division 4.

Deb Braatz of Waterloo is the next soon to be inductee. Deb's Pirates won their 511th victory under tutelage and it took place in a victory in the state (final four) semi-final. Her teams have won four conference titles while playing in a very tough Capitol Conference.

Tim Roehrig of Kaukauna is next and what a run he has had. His Ghosts have won the last three Division state championships after beating Superior 4-0 in the title game. That championship game victory was the 509th time the Ghosts have won a game under Tim's leadership. Tim's teams have been to the State Tournament and the Final Four a total of five times and have never been beaten. So they have 15 state tournaments wins and 10 Final Four wins. They will be seeking number 6 and the fourth in a row in 2024.

Gene Van Dyck been tough to beat and in 2021 won the Division 3 state title. The Dodgers have also been to the Final Four three times, finishing runner up in 1994 and 2000.
