“We’ve been thriving on the road this year and not only have our girls displayed confidence going into somebody else’s park to play on ‘their turf,’ they seem to hunger for and thrive on that type of competitive challenge. It’s been all about confidence, aggression, and sound fundamentals for us. We talk often about each of our players getting themselves into their own unique headspace that has led to their success in the past and playing their game from that platform in their mind. It’s an individual thing for each of them so my constant challenge to them is to identify where their head currently is and then where it needs to be for their greatest chance of success. They know it’s up to them to get themselves there, and they’ve been doing it.” said head coach Jim Clift.

After receiving a first round bye, #3 seed Lake Mills (18-4) will face a rematch with #6 seed Martin Luther (14-7) in Round 2 of the Division 2 WIAA playoffs at Rotary Park on Tuesday, May 23 at 5 PM.
