Breleigh Ustruck's RBI single plated El Henschel with the go-ahead run in the bottom of the sixth inning and Lindsay Sandleback secured the victory with a scoreless seventh as the Spartans claimed a share of the North Shore Conference title.
West can win the title outright with a victory at Grafton tomorrow.
Sandleback allowed just two earned runs, scattering seven hits while fanning seven with only an intentional walk.
Ava Thelen scored on a fielder's choice by Mackenzie Rolf to tie the game at 1-1 in the fourth. The Spartans went ahead 3-1 on Thelen's two-run double in the fifth. Hartford knotted the score with a two-run double in the top of the sixth.
In the bottom of the sixth, Eleanor Henschel laced a two-out triple and Ustruck followed with her RBI single.
Mia Buske was 3-for-4 with two doubles and Thelen was 2-for-3 with a double.
