The Gilman girls notched a 9-3 victory over Glenwood City during the annual Gilman/Thorp Slamfest on Saturday. 

That victory by the Pirates moved head coach Brian Phelps up a milepost in his head coaching career. The win was t he 400th for Gilman softball during Brian's head coaching career.

We have deleted his name from the 350 win milepost and added it to the 400 win level.

That means that during this year's Slam Fest two current Wisconsin Fastpitch Softball Coaches Association Hall of Fame members moved up a milepost on The Fastpitch Chronicle Coaches Honor Roll.
