Coming off a solid, 4-2 win against Oakfield on Friday, April 21st, the New Holstein Huskies went onto a 6-0 winning streak this past week, defeating Roncalli, Two Rivers, Kiel twice, Howards Grove, and Campbellsport. New Holstein pitchers, Natalie Ziebell, Jenna Karls, and Natalee Kraus wheeled a total of 50 strikeouts and allowed 30 hits.
In the six games, the Huskies offense came alive with 70 team hits! Alyssa Woelfel led the team going 11 for 19 at the plate with 5 homeruns (four in one game), 1 double, 12 runs and 13 RBIs. Natalie Ziebell and Kylee Pierquet also hit their first homerun of the season while Hayli Kohlman cranked two homeruns with one being her SECOND GRAND SLAM of the season!!
